The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is a sub-committee of the Community Alliance for Prevention. The Youth Advisory Committee is a diverse group of youth, comprised of high school students, developing leadership skills and making a positive impact on the community through substance abuse prevention activities.
The Youth Advisory Committee visions our community working together to support healthy choices so our community members can build healthy, safe and successful lives free of the challenges associated with substance use.

$250 – One Operation Snowball retreat scholarship
$500 – Two nights of emergency shelter and support for a youth in crisis
$1,000 – Eight hours of counseling support for teens and their families in need
$2,500 – Ten move-in baskets of necessities for youth entering our housing program
$5,000 – Four months of rent for two youth experiencing homelessness.
